Ubisoft has announced a new Ghost Recon Wildlands free DLC in its latest update. This Ghost Recon Wildlands new story DLC will introduce a new narrative arc, which will be compromised of two free missions called Operation Oracle. Operation Oracle sends you on a rescue mission for a Skell Tech engineer taken hostage by Unidad and stars Jon Bernthal (AKA The Punisher) as a fellow Ghost. So, if you are eager to have a try at the new DLC, here’s everything you need to know before you buying it.

Ghost Recon Wildlands Operation Oracle DLC

Operation Oracle will task the Ghosts with rescuing a Skell Tech engineer being held hostage by Unidad forces. What begins as a simple rescue mission suddenly takes a turn for the complex when you meet Cole D. Walker, a Ghost Team Leader who will make you question the difference between friend and foe. And you might see a familiar face in there — Jon Berthnal — from some popular shows like The Walking Dead and Punisher.

The new DLC comes out on May 2 on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Watch the badass trailer below.

Here’s a official description of the missions and Walker as follows:

“Playable in single-player or co-op, Operation Oracle sends the Ghosts on a rescue mission for a Skell Tech engineer taken hostage by Unidad. This typical rescue mission will soon turn into something much bigger. Forget what you know about your enemies and friends as you meet Cole D. Walker, a Ghost Team Leader on the hunt for truth.”

Now, about that free weekend.

Fortunately, even if you don't own the game, you'll be able to check them out via an upcoming free weekend. 

The free weekend is set to begin on May 2. Here are the specific opening and closing times broken down by time zone. Note that the PC version on Uplay and Steam will end just under a day earlier.

PDT: Free weekend begins at 7 am PDT on May 2 and ends at 10 am PDT on May 6.
EDT: Free weekend begins at 10 am EDT on May 2 and ends at 1 pm EDT on May 6.
BST: Free weekend begins at 3 pm BST on May 2 and ends at 6 pm BST on May 6.

In addition, players can also get access to Ghost Recon: Wildlands’s base game's contents for free (assuming they have Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus) during the entire weekend. They including single-player and online co-op. Any progress you make will carry over to the full version (which you'll be able to buy at up to a 70 percent discount through May 13).
