NHL 20 is set to launch on September 13 this summer, along with some some gigantic new features to provide fans better baseball experience. Below, Joymmo.com has outlined major features in NHL 20 you should know.

Celebrity Commentators And New Graphics

NHL 20 will feature celebratory commentary, with EA tapping huge Hollywood and industry giants like Snoop Dogg and Will Ferrell, with Ferrell delivering his commentary in his Ron Burgundy character from Anchorman. While EA hasn't named any any celebrity guest appearances yet, but a slide shown to GameSpot included people like Snoop Dogg, Will Ferrell, Drake, and Wayne Gretzky.

Also in terms of presentation, NHL 20's graphics and scoreboards will look different this year. You'll immediately notice that the scoreboard is now on the bottom of the screen, while there are brand-new overlays and motion graphics, too. Additionally, there are new sequences that aim to showcase the flashiest and most exciting moments in NHL 20. This includes "play of the period" and "play of the game" highlights that showcase those moments, as well as new celebration animations. 

NHL 20 Adds Battle Royale

 EA surprised with the announcement of NHL 20 in that it will include a battle royale mode.The NHL 20 battle royale mode will be known as Eliminator and will put 81 players up against each other in a survival, winner-takes-all tournament. Players will be able to play in groups of one or three, allowing them to play alone or with friends.
Essentially, you will be able to choose from an elite roster of NHL players who will be battling it out to determine who is the best player, which is an unusual choice for a sports game.

RPM Changes And Improvements

With the updated Real Player Motion (RPM) technology, NHL 20 will introduce signature shots for a group of select NHL superstars. This brings the unique shots of NHL superstars into the game, including  P.K Subban’s booming slapshot, Alexander Ovechkin’s one-timer from the top of the left faceoff circle, NHL 20 cover athlete Auston Matthews’ half-drag release, Patrik Laine’s pinpoint shot, and Steven Stamkos’ sizzler. 
In addition, there will also be some adjustments to passing and puck pick-ups in NHL 20.The new InMotion tech takes the RPM skating system from last year and?adds more contextual body animations for passing, shooting, and picking up the puck without having to break your stride or revert to a glide to perform these actions.

Hockey Ultimate Team Adds Squad Battles

HUT introduces Squad Battles, which comes from the FIFA series. It puts a spotlight on the game's Icons. The number has grown to over 400 for this year's game. The NHL series hasn't gotten enough credit for its commitment to including legend likenesses. Including them in multiple modes makes it all the more impacting.

New Stuff For World Of Chel

Last, EA Vancouver is also adding to World of Chel, the online suite that was such a success in NHL 19, with a new survival-style tournament format for NHL Ones and NHL Threes called Eliminator that allows up to 81 players to duke it out in a bracket. And Hockey Ultimate Team will have a new mode, Squad Battles, that’s lifted from the FIFA series.

NHL 20 launches on September 13 for PS4 and Xbox One. People who pre-order the Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Edition will be able to start playing three days early on Sept. 10, while EA Access subscribers can play a trial of NHL 20 starting on September 5.
