You may also be aware that more and more games are being dropped from previously available digital stores. The latest game to be dropped is the Xbox One exclusive version of Forza Motorsport 6.

Why is Forza Motorsport 6 Being De-Listed?

The exact reasons why Forza Motorsport 6 is being removed from all digital stores is not clear, but the developer says the following:

"Forza Motorsport 6 will enter 'End of Life' status on September 15. This means that the game and its associated add-on content (including car packs and expansions) will no longer be available for purchase. Players who own Forza 6 before that date will still be able to download and play the game and its associated add-on content as normal but the game and add-on content will no longer be available for purchase on the Xbox Live Marketplace."

One reason the game may have been delisted is that the music copyright used in the game may have expired. This seems to be a common reason why games are being pulled from digital stores. Since this is known as the "end of life" state, we know that Forza 6 will not be digitized in the future.

So, if you're a fan of Forza but haven't got a digital copy of the game and its DLC yet, you might want to start playing it as soon as possible. But you can also start with Forza Motorsport 7. Forza Motorsport 7 can be run on XBox One, and PC (Microsoft Windows) platforms.
