The World of Warcraft classic website has been updated with news that closed beta testing will end on July 12. The team plans to test over the past seven weeks to find verified bugs in 17,000 reports. This will make Classic, which launches on August 27, a better experience for all.

"Next, the final stress test will take place on July 25 solstice 26 (we have changed the date since we first announced it). During global testing, we will roll out our multi-regional hardware in preparation for the worldwide launch of WoW Classic. In addition to getting more testers to play through the initial upgrade experience, this will be a test of the fixes and tweaks to the games we do and are working on."

The plan is to thoroughly test multi-area hardware, which will be an opportunity to test fixes and tweaks that have been and are being made to the game.
