Bethesda's E3 2019 Conference - Wastelanders DLC and Nuclear Winter Battle Royale Mode

2019-06-12 01:18:33

During Bethesda’s E3 2019 press conference,Bethesda has revealed Nuclear Winter, a new battle royale mode for Fallout 76, and some details about the upcoming free Wastelanders DLC for Fallout 76.

The next update for Fallout 76 is called “Wastelanders,” which is described as the biggest content drop to date.

“Wastelanders is a massive free update to Fallout 76 that fundamentally changes the Wasteland, coming Fall 2019,” reads the official description. “One year after the opening of Vault 76, other humans have returned to Appalachia. Factions of Settlers and Raiders aim to make the world their own and claim a rumored fortune. Embark on a new main quest of choice and consequence, interact with characters and their unique stories, discover the faction settlements of Crater and Foundation, and collect powerful new weapons and armor. Your choices decide their fates.”

Wastelanders will feature human NPCs with full dialogue trees for the first time in Fallout 76, a new main quest, choice and consequences, new weapons and gear, and more.

Like past Fallout titles such as Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Fallout 4, you'll have dialogue trees that give you options for you to interact with and respond to the people you meet. Wastelanders is set to arrive this fall, but an official release date was not given.

The second component of this content drop is a battle royale mode called Nuclear Winter. The 52-player mode has everyone participating fighting to the death, with the last person standing winning the honor of becoming the new overseer of Vault 51. The mode includes all of Fallout 76's weapons and other mechanics, like CAMPs, perk cards, and even nuclear weapons. However, some of these mechanic behave differently in Never Winter. For example,Creatures have been rebalanced in Nuclear Winter to make them easier to take down. All armor pickups you gain from those kills will contain a full set of armor, allowing you to get stronger faster.C.A.M.P setups have also been simplified so you can just drop your creation into the map using your Blueprints from Adventure Mode. Nukes have a smaller effect and area in Never Winter.

Another big surprise was that there will be a free trial coming to Fallout 76 from June 10-17,which will give players a sneak peek at the new mode. Like Wasteland, the mode will be free to all players when it fully launches, but Bethesda didn't say when the mode will join the game to stay.

Fallout 76 is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. For more information about the game, stay tuned to Joymmo.com, a professional online in-game currency store for Cheap Fallout 76 Bottle Caps.
