Fortnite Season 9 Map Changes

Tilted Towers will become a futuristic "utopia".

As we all know, during the vault event, the volcano that sprung up at the start of Season 8 erupted, destroying Titled Towers and dramatically changing the landscape of the island. So what will happen next? According to Epic's latest hint, it sounds like a remodeled version of Tilted Towers may be on the way.

Recently, Fortnite star Ninja just dropped some of the season's upcoming map changes on his stream. Note that this is unconfirmed and should be treated as such. But there's reason to think it could be legitimate: if it's coming from Ninja, it has the ring of truth to it. Tilted Towers, he said, will become a futuristic "utopia", which would certainly be right in line with sci-fi-styled teasers that we've seen so far. One imagines tall, silvery towers with copious glass or somesuch: utopia definitely implies less of the post-apocalyptic notion that some have suspected since the Volcano eruption.

Fortnite Season 9 New Battle Skins

Three Fortnite Season 9 teasers have been released so far, each focusing on a new character, giving us an idea of what to expect from Season 9 Battle Pass skins.

Just like the previous two Season 9 teasers, this one features a slogan about the future and shows off another presumed Season 9 Battle Pass skin. This time, Epic says "the future is Tilted", which has pretty strong implications for those who were saddened by the destruction of Tilted Towers this weekend. If the future truly is Tilted, the inference to be made is that the popular point of interest might soon be transformed into a futuristic cityscape. We’ll see.

The Fortnite Season 9 is set to release on this Thursday, May 9th, according to in-game Battle Pass countdown clock. When the new season does roll around, based on previous seasons, the Fortnite Season 9 start time should be early morning in the UK at the game's usual patch time:
