Elder Scrolls Online Guide - How to Become A Vampire

2019-05-10 09:22:30

I constantly see people asking for Vampire or Werewolf bites in Elder Scrolls Online community. Many players are wondering whether it is necessary to become a Vampire or Werewolf. And if you do, then how to become a Vampire or Werewolf? Therefore, here in this Elder Scrolls Online Vampire Guide, Joymmo.com will tell you whether you should become a vampire and how to become a vampire.

Elder Scrolls Online Guide - How to Become A Vampire

Should I become A Vampire or Not?

It is not necessary to become a vampire or Werewolf in Elder Scrolls Online. Both of them are  extra skill lines that have pros and cons. As with vampire,

For PVE, it offers extra magic and stamina recovery, at the cost of sacrificing 75% of your health recovery (not particularly useful in PVE, so whatever) and increase all incoming fire damage by 25% (can be dangerous in certain content, but you can reduce this by dropping to stage 2). If you can stay at stage 2, or you don't really care about the downsides, then there's really no reason not to.

For PVP, it offers the same extra recovery as in PVE, but it also offers some extra damage reduction at low health, a very strong escape skill (Mist Form), a strong ultimate for when fighting outnumbered (Devouring Swarm), and a good form of CC that heals you (Drain Essence), that can either generate ultimate (Invigorating Drain) or give you a minor speed boost (Accelerating Drain).

All of this comes at the cost of the same 75% reduction in health recovery ( This can be detrimental if you use something like Troll King or rely on that health regeneration for some reason) and 25% increase to all incoming fire damage (a huge downside, since fire damage is one of the most common damage types in PVP), as well as extra damage from Dawnbreaker (most common stamina ultimate in PVP) and Prismatic glyphs (sometimes used, hits undead harder).

It's a pretty big choice you have to make.

How to Become A Vampire?

In order to become a vampire you need to contract a condition called Vampirism, which you get if you get bit by a Vampire. There are three ways to get vampirism (or lycanthrophy):

Crown store
Other players who have a skill that has seven day cool down.

Undoubtedly, paying with crowns is the quickest and easiest way. However, if you are a new beginner and don't have enough crowns in store, don’t worry, as Joymmo.com provides Cheap Elder Scrolls Online Gold. Believe us that our items are absolutely safe. Moreover, compared to other online sellers, our price is competitive and our delivery is much faster.

If you want a bite from other players your best bet is to go a zone with a vampire shrine (The Rift, Reapers March or Bangkorai) and ask for a bite in zone chat. If someone says they can help make sure to ask if the bite is free or if there is a gold charge. A LOT of players give bites for free so if you get people asking for gold in exchange just let them know you are new and don't have much gold, then go back to trying to find a bite (unless they are charging an amount you can afford to pay).

The Bloodfriend bites are a bit harder to come by as they are a very specific spawn that only occur in the zones with the vampire shrines (see above) and only at night (and not even every night, unfortunately). Being stubborn and wanting to do it "the old fashioned way" that is how I got my vampire bite.

That's the end of Elder Scrolls Online Vampire Guide.
