Early before, it is leaked that d that Microsoft and Epic Games have teamed up for a new purple Xbox One Fortnite bundle. As now rumored and confirmed The Xbox One S Fortnite Battle Royale Special Edition bundle will be released on June 7 for $299, though Microsoft is selling the bundle for $50 off during launch.

In addition to the console itself, Owners who buy the Special Edition bundle will get a matching purple Xbox wireless controller, a copy of Fortnite, a Dark Vertex cosmetic set for the game (comprising a Legendary Outfit, Epic Glider, and Rare Pickaxe), 2000 in-game V-Bucks, and a one-month free trial Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass (the former of which is required to play Fortnite). While the base game is free, so much of Fortnite's culture revolves around cool player cosmetics, so this package should give any new player a leg up in the real battle royale: fashion. A new Storm Flip item is coming soon to Fortnite Battle Royale.

It seems like Epic adds a new item or weapon to Fortnite every week - or every other week at the very least. Each addition changes the game slightly to a ton, depending on how useful and effective it is.

Recently, rumor has it that a new Storm Flip item is coming soon to Fortnite Battle Royale. The description for the item is, “Unleash the storm or tame it. The choice is yours!” Here’s a image of how the new item looks like.

Based on the description, my guess is that using this item will unleash a bubble of either protection from the storm or storm damage. You would be able to use it to revive a teammate in the storm, stop to heal, or - when you're not in the storm - use it on enemies similar to a Stink Bomb.

So far, there isn’t much information on this item and it has not been added to the files as yet.

This item will most likely be coming to Fortnite on Wednesday, when the v9.20 update should be going live, but the time of release of this patch has not yet been confirmed by Epic themselves.
