How to get a Hiram Gear?

To get Hiram Gear, players have to kill a certain mobs called Abyssal mobs which can be identified by the title "Abyssal Legion" above them.

Players can find those Abyssal in Aurorian zones: Diamond Shores, Calmlands, Heedmar, Marcala, and Nuimari. Among those areas, except for ares Diamond Shores where Abyssal mobs are spread all across ,the other zones have specific spawn areas. 

The Hiram equipment drop in Unidentified form and requires 60 Labor to identify. When you identify a piece of equipment, you will get a random piece in the 6 specified types: 1-Hand Weapon, 2-Hand Weapon, Instrument, Plate Armor, Leather Armor, and Cloth Armor. 

In addition, when you identify the Hiram equipment,?the item will have 3 randomly generated stats. One of the 3 stats will always be one of the 5 base character stats (Strength, Agility, Intelligence, Spirit, Stamina). The other two stats are randomly selected from a pool based on the item.

Usually you want to look for an item with 2 good stats before you start leveling it. Of course RNG is RNG so that last stat may be a pain to obtain. Generally speaking, it's easier to get RNG luck and choose a new STR/STA/INT/AGI type stat, then it is the combat/healing related ones. There are less of the stats to choose from, therefore you have a greater chance. so if you are a melee you'd want a weapon with melee crit rate and melee crit dmg. and then you try to re-roll the stat to STR. if you're a healer you want healing crit rate and crit heals, and re-roll the stat for spirit.

How to Upgrade Hiram Gear Fast?

In ArcheAge, you upgrade Hiram gear by feeding it other Hiram gear. So if you identify a piece of Hiram gear you like, you can feed it other Hiram gear you don’t need. Note: you can use ANY other Hiram gear to feed a piece, regardless of item type. 

So, just head to the hero hall of your faction as there will be quests related to farming Hiram and they'll give you different teleport scrolls to a zone of your choice. The best place you could start farming infusions and awakening scrolls for T1 Hiram is Reedwind, while Western Hiram mountains are for higher grade infusions and awakening scrolls for T2 Hiram gear.

Make sure to farm in war time and get a few loot drop potions to help maximize the chance for infusions to drop.
